Our Mission
Turâth is a Moroccan association established in 2021, non-profit, dedicated to the preservation of the tangible and intangible heritage of the city of Marrakech and its region.
Heritage, in this context, is understood in its broadest sense, encompassing both architectural and landscape elements, as well as the knowledge and cultural practices associated with related professions.
The association brings together members who share common values, such as the understanding of heritage, its preservation, and its valorization, fostering exchange and collaboration across various domains in partnership with private and public institutions.

Objectives of the Association
The non-profit, non-religious, and apolitical association "TURÂTH" was established with the aim of achieving the following objectives:
Awareness / Information
Organize various activities (conferences, exhibitions, guided tours, press relations, training, awareness workshops, think tanks, etc.) with the goal of raising awareness among the general public (both young and old) interested in heritage and its preservation.
Valorization / Restoration
Initiate and encourage preservation, valorization, restoration, or rehabilitation actions on specific sites.
Research / Dissemination
Conduct or participate in research and analysis to build and strengthen knowledge about heritage. Act to promote the dissemination and popularization of subjects related to heritage and its valorization (studies, reports, publications…).
Heritage Promotion
Any other action that contributes to the valorization of the tangible and intangible heritage of Marrakech and its region.
